Portugal - An awesome weekend until the fiasco of Monday afternoon

Good afternoon

Well, Saasha and I had a great 3 days in Portugal... well, it was supposed to have been 3 but due to an idiot(ie. me) leaving the car unlocked we stayed for 4.. yes, poor Saasha had her bag stolen cause I thought I locked the car but didnt! In the bag, was her passport and as such we couldnt board the plane on Monday night..We ended up leaving on Tuesday afternoon..

Besides this the weather was brilliant and the beaches were amazing!

Stockholm

Had a great couple of days in Stockholm with Emma.. the weather gods were shining on us as we had two 30 plus days in the sun.. Definitely, one of my favourite cities Ive been too...

The highlight was on Sunday, when we went to the Royal Palace and coincidently the Princess was celebrating her 25th birthday! They had a ceremony with a marching band to celebrate and we all sang happy birthday in Swedish.. Well I attempted to anyway! She then came around to say thanks for coming.. I think she made a special mention to me! :) I could easily see myself shacked up in the Royal Palace.. Prince Troy - it does have a nice sound to it!!

The Stockholm marathon was also there on the weekend.. the poor guys were running around in 30C heat!!

Races

Had a great day at the Epsom Derby on Saturday... was heaps of fun off the track!! Got to try out my new white suit!! On the track didnt do as well... kept picking the donkeys!

First BBQ at my house in Willesden Green!

Well, June is here and that means one thing.... yes we are officially in summer!! YAY!!! I thought what better way to celebrate the start of summer than to have a BBQ.. Luckily the weather gods were smiling at me so it turned out to be a great day.
We had a few issues with the BBQ itself but luckily my fantastic housemates came to the rescue and we got all the meat cooked and the salads done! Thanks guys!!
I even brought out my white suit (which I wore to the races the day before!)
It was a great afternoon and ended a very busy weekend! Came to work today for a rest!
