Bath and Stonehenge.. yes I have returned to the UK...

Hello everyone

I have now been back in London for 3 long weeks trying to sort my life out. I think I may have underestimated how difficult it can be to find employment in this bustling city.

Unfortunately, Rwanda feels like a distant memory as I go about trying to re-build my life here in the UK. Thankfully, I have my pictures to reflect on the four wonderful months I spent volunteering in this beautiful country. It has been very difficult to re-adjust to London life as I really have come from two extremes in this world.
I have been lucky to move back into my old house and my old room, and I must admit it feels like I never left the room. It’s been great catching up with all my friends here in the UK and everyone has been very interested in my time in Rwanda.

To help with the re-adjustment I went on a road trip with my two housemates to Stonehenge and Bath for the day. It was so good to get out on London for the day to see some greenery and visit authentic English villages along the way. All in all a very successful day except for the fine I got for losing my parking ticket..25 quid later!!!

I have also been keeping busy organising the ABANA UK committee. I have a number of interested people thanks to the wonderful world of Facebook. There are exciting times ahead for the group, as I go about bringing 20 something professionals together who share a similar passion for Africa.

Anyway, I have an interview today so wish me luck.

Enjoy the pics... sorry no more pics of cute African children … well not for the time being!!!
